摘要：

This study was designed to investigate Mongolian students' English teaching and learning in Bayinguoleng Inner-Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture in Xinjiang. The investigation attempts to locate the problems and difficulties in their practice, analyze the causes and find the Mongolian learners' advantages. The purpose of this study is to draw people's attention to English teaching for minority students in Xinjiang so that some measures may be taken to improve the practice.
