摘要：

The aim of the research is to find out whether there is a link between academic procrastination and emotional intelligence. 112 female collegge students of Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Tmava participated/mrolled in the research Two methods were used to achieve the goal - The General Procrastination Scale for Students and The Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire for Adolescents and Adults. We found that increasing level of emotional intelligence reduces the degree of procrastination among students. As part of the research we investigated the predictors of procrastination between emotional intelligence factors. A significant predictor of academic procrastination was the factor of sociability
