摘要
Free Space Optics wireless communication is a progressive communication technology. Despite the fact that it has been announced to the commercial market for a while, there are some fundamental problems to be considered. This paper deals with the negative weather influences which significantly deteriorate particular communication. FSO links themselves are not capable of link 99,999% availability per year. That's why the FSO links need to be backed up with RF links. Continuously changing and evolving weather conditions will be taken under the scope. It turns out that it's necessary to store and process measured weather data. Measured weather parameters will serve as alert indicators to switch between FSO and RF systems.
