摘要
Ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE) has gained acceptance as an efficient environment-friendly technique for a greener sample preparation because, compared to classical extraction procedures, the amount of solvent required has decreased and the extraction time shortened. UAE has been predominantly applied to solid samples, but recently ultrasound radiation was coupled to microextraction techniques for the analysis of liquid samples. This review discusses the application of UAE to the determination of different emerging contaminants in water, soil, sediment and sludge published in the past five years. (C) 2015 Elsevier B.V.
