摘要
The objective of this paper is to analyze the wind direction using speed on three vertical propellers anemometer. This anemometer equipped with three orthogonal propellers anemometer for the three wind vectors capable of sampling rate up to 30 m/s. The method that proposed is the effectiveness of determining the wind direction when the angle difference between the propellers is 120o. The advantage point of this model is by using one instrument with the ability to determine the wind direction using the speed from propeller anemometer without a separate sensor like a wind vane. The challenge of this configuration is the difficulties to read the wind direction when the two propellers have the same maximal data speed. Furthermore, the measured wind data from the anemometer must be calibrated to avoid interference from platform motion. The focus of this paper is to find and analyze the best configuration of three orthogonal vertical propellers anemometer.
