摘要：

This paper deals with challenges determining effective development of military tertiary education at the beginning of the 21st century against the background of the emerging European Educational Area. After analyzing key determinants of current military education, it focuses on approaches implemented in the Czech Armed Forces by the Czech University of Defence.
