LINKED OPEN DATA STAKEHOLDER ROLES

Publication, interlinking and reuse of machine readable data on the web is often discussed nowadays, especially in the domain of government data where publication of Open Data is currently driven by the Open Government initiatives. In this paper we focus on roles that are engaged in creation, usage and maintenance of Linked Open Data (LOD). We analyze existing models that describe LOD life cycles and based on this analysis we propose a model of the LOD stakeholder roles. This model should help organizations that publish LOD to establish governance and organization structures that might be necessary in order to manage LOD properly.
