摘要
Diabetes mellitus is responsible for delayed or impaired wound healing, which often leads to non-healing chronic wounds. Adipose-derived stem cells can promote angiogenesis, secrete growth factors, regulate the inflammatory process, and differentiate into multiple cell types makes them a potential ideal therapy for chronic wounds. The aim of this review is to summarize the current status of ADSC-based treatments for diabetic wounds, describe their mechanism of action and several clinical trials of diabetic wound repair and introduce some published clinical applications for Diabetic Foot Ulcers (DFUs).
