摘要
When shield tunneling machine was used to construct subway tunnel, it maybe collapse because of the bad karst foundation stability. The lower limit finite element method was used to obtain the ultimate bearing capacity of shield tunnel karst foundation. First, MIDAS/GTS was used to generate mesh, and the elements and nodes were numbered, and their data was stored in files and then imported into Matrix Laboratory program, which can be used to obtain the bearing capacity. With an example, the lower ultimate load Q and its equivalent circular uniformly distributed load was obtained.
