摘要：

A comparison of results of assessment of technical efficiency of innovativeness for 2005 and 2010 is presented in this paper. The intent is to show how capable is the Innovation Union Scoreboard (IUS) in the explanation of innovation process in transforming innovation inputs into results or innovation outputs. Critical comments regarding IUS approach are presented, along with recommended modifications. Expected gains from further studies are outlined. (C) 2012 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
