Incommensurate spin modulation in ferromagnetic PtFe and PdFe alloys

摘要：

Magnetic scattering of neutrons was measured for several single crystals of ferromagnetic disordered alloys Pt1-xFex (0.08 < x < 0.18) and Pd1-yFey (y = 0.1 and 0.15). We found satellite diffuse peaks at 1 + delta, 0, 0 and the equivalent symmetry positions for both alloys. The wave vector of the spin modulation varies with Fe concentration. The experimental data support that the oscillatory spin component homogeneously coexists with the ferromagnetic long-range order.
