摘要
In recent years, a large number of research works have been carried out in transmission expansion planning (TEP) field. TEP problem has been investigated with different views, methods, constraints, and objectives. Thus, it is required to evaluate and to overview the proposed works. This paper will review TEP problem from different aspects such as modeling, solving methods, reliability, distributed generation, electricity market, uncertainties, line congestion and reactive power planning. The review results provide a comprehensive background to find out the further works in this field. (C) 2013 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
