摘要
Concrete-encased CFST structure is a new composite system that provides widely engineering applicability. This paper presents a finite element analysis (FEA) model for a typical concrete-encased CFST industrial workshop structure under seismic action. The natural vibration and dynamic characteristics of the industrial workshop structure are analyzed. Deformation analysis and stress analysis is conducted by using the FEA model to investigate the seismic performance of the industrial workshop structure. Comparative analysis between the reference RC structure and the concrete-encased CFST structure is carried out. The effects of steel braces on the collapse-resisting capacity of the industrial workshop structure are also studied.
