摘要
This paper describes the frequency dependence of the partial discharge characteristics in a needle-plate electrode system under sine wave applied voltage 50 Hz to 10 kHz. We measured the pulse occurrence frequency and the maximum discharge charge magnitude and phi-n distribution and pulse mean phi-q distribution for the needle electrode with tip radius 30 pm and 300 pm at sine wave applied voltage of 1.25 kV and 2 kV at peak voltage. We found that the frequency dependences of the partial discharge characteristics are very similar to each other at this wide range of applied voltage frequency. This means the frequency acceleration may be applied to partial discharge degradation test.
