A high-speed, continuous and no-intermittent frequency measurement algorithm for cesium optically pumped magnetometer

摘要
Cesium optically pumped magnetometer(OPM) is a weak magnetic field measuring instrument based on Zeeman effect. Aiming at the low sampling rate of conventional cesium OPM, this paper presents a high-speed, continuous and no-intermittent frequency measurement method based on fixed gate. On the foundation of the fixed gate frequency measurement method, double counters are respectively used to continuously counting to achieve continuous measurement without intermittent in the positive and negative gates. Meanwhile, to improve the accuracy of measurement, the STM32 microcontroller analyzes the collected data to find and remove the junction points of dynamic frequency. The experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively improve the sampling rate and precision of the system, and can be applied to the cesium OPM, which has a good application prospect.
