摘要：
H.264/AVC is one of the most efficient international video coding standards. In this standard, intra-prediction with SATD (sum absolute transform distortion) cost calculation is applied. In this paper, the distributions of the intra-prediction modes' cost are studied and compiled by statistics method in both 16x16 and 4x4 blocks in I-frame. The simulation result shows that the distributions of the cost can be modeled as F distribution.
