摘要
Subjective quality of life is determined by the level of satisfaction that people obtain from their own life and its conditions. In the studies of the subjective quality of life the most often used research tool is a questionnaire containing questions or closed statements. Complex socio-economic phenomena such a subjective quality of life are generally described by variables measured on ordinal measurement scales. Comparative analysis of objects (countries, cities etc.) due to subjective quality of life is possible using at least two approaches. The first of these consists in enhancement ordinal measurement scales and treating the results as from metric (interval and/or ration) scales. The second approach involves the use of the fuzzy set theory and the presentation of measurement results in the form of fuzzy sets. The new approach proposed in the article is based on intuitionistic fuzzy sets which allows additionally to taking into account the degree of measurement uncertainty expressed in neutral categories of ordinal measurement scales.
