摘要
Nano and macro porous silicon (PS) layers were grown on p-type silicon wafers by electrochemical etching process. Surface functionalization using glucose oxidase (GOX) was done for selective glucose sensing. I-V characteristics of both the PS layers at different glucose concentrations show rectifying nature. It is observed that the current value decreases with increasing glucose concentration at a particular applied voltage for both the PS layers. Nano PS layer shows better sensitivity towards higher glucose concentration, whereas, macro porous layer is more sensitive towards lower glucose concentration. Finally, a sensing mechanism has been proposed. (C) 2017 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
