摘要
Three new copper(II) dithiocarbamates (DTC), [Cu{S2CN(Me)(R-1)}(2)] (1), [Cu{S2CN(Me)(R-2)}(2)] (2) and [Cu{S2CN(R-3)(R-4)}(2)] (3) with R-1 = -CH2CH(OMe)(2), R-2 = 2-methyl-1,3-dioxolane, R-3 = -CH2(CH2)(2)N=CHPhOCH2Ph and R-4 = -CH2CH2OH, have been synthesized and characterized by different spectroscopic techniques. Complexes (1) and (2) display typical EPR spectra for separated Cu(II) centers, and the spectrum of (3) is characteristic of two magnetically coupled Cu(II) ions with S = 1. The X-ray crystal-lographic determination has shown that complexes (1) and (2) crystallise in the triclinic and monoclinic systems. In addition both complexes are monomers in which the geometry at each Cu(II) is square planar. The in vitro antimicrobial activity of the sodium salts of ligands, and of the Cu(II)-DTC complexes have been screened against Aspergillus flavus, Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus parasiticus, Penicillium citrinum and Curvularia senegalensis, as well as Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria. Finally, the toxic effects of complexes (1)-(3) were performed using Chlorella vulgaris. (c) 2013 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
