摘要：

This article describes several mechanical tests conducted on MIG-pulsed butt-welded samples of 5754 H111 aluminium alloy, an alloy which is used in the crumpling Lone of the TGV-Duplex. These tests are conducted to point up some rules to improve the crash behaviour of welded structures. An industrial application is presented at the end of the article.
