Purpose - define the trends of modern development, as a result of the study about practice public administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Methodology - in the analysis of theory and practice of public administration was held by the following methods: systematic, using the four basic government prisms (elements, mutuality, boundaries, environment); from private to general (induction and deduction). Originality/value - research is made up from the study of the mechanism of reformation of public administration. Subject is related to the comprehensive review of the complex and contradictory process of transformation of the socio-economic relations, the analysis of theoretical and methodological framework, and the identification of the dominant trends and prospects in contemporary Kazakhstani society. Findings - This given paper tries to figure out the trends, which is specific for the public administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2010. The Republic of Kazakhstan has deepened the process of formation of a modern model of governance, where the cornerstone was placed in the interests of consumers and society as a whole, which improves the system of relations, "state-population". In the framework of administrative reform, implementation of the principles and practices of corporate governance in public administration and in the activities of public authority is continuing. Public authorities analyze own activities as a component of three interrelated elements: effectiveness, results management, management of the staff performance. The process of the development of governance effectiveness evaluative mechanis was activated. Evaluation of effectiveness of the governance takes place in all levels of the system functioning: from a separate organization to a local administration; from local administration to regional; from regional till central administration and its authotity - the state. As a result of valuation, all processes of processes of transparency, de-bureaucratization was activated, however it did not reduced the level of paper documentation Quality of government service did not improve, which has been proven by the 4 factual data represented in the report, but all of the government agencies are involved in the process of valuation.
