摘要
This paper examines characteristics of Beijing central urban land-use and land-cover (LULC) classes based on a decision tree classification techonologies. A mid-scale resolution ETM+/TM5 image was used in this research to gain the classification image of seven class in Beijing central urban area. The results indicate that the decision tree classification technologies significantly improved classification accuracy. The result images were found to be effective for characterizing the urban landscape patterns.
