摘要：

Nowadays the English language plays an important role in everyday life, business and especially educational system. The English language is popular all over the world, as it has become the lingua franca of communication in many fields such as science, engineering, aviation, medicine, information technology, business, and research. The main objective of this paper is to present the role of the English Language in Engineering Education, in Kaunas University of Technology and beyond. In order to evaluate the role of English language the quantitative analysis was carried out regarding student's opinion in one of the faculties in Kaunas University of Technology.
