摘要
This paper presents simplified simulation models to determine the winding hot spot temperature of a transformer. The models use measured oil temperature(s), load current and transformer winding data as inputs. The simulated winding hot spot temperature showed good agreement with the temperature measured on 250 MVA transformer equipped with fiber optic probes. The models can be implemented in an on line monitoring system. The determined winding hot spot temperature can be used to assess the insulation ageing, the risk of bubble formation. It is also important for more efficient control of the cooling
