摘要
In this Paper, a Quasi-Yagi antenna for frequency reconfigurability is presented. The antenna is composed of a double-layer metallic structure and fed by a microstrip fed line. Two PIN diode switches are introduced in the driven element to control its length, resulting in shifting the resonance frequency into different regions electronically. The obtained results show that the antenna resonates at 2.9 GHz and 4.9 GHz. Furthermore, changing the position of the PIN diodes over the driven element makes the antenna resonate at other frequency bands, which is suitable for several wireless applications.
