Analysis of the Environmental Policy in China-Towards the Policy Networks Approach

In the past 30 years, China has made much headway in economic development. However China's own future development is threatened by the impact on the environment produced by the present trends in its growth. As a result, China's official attitude to the environment has changed drastically over the last 30 years, and the Chinese environmental policies have evolved from faultiness to maturity since the founding of new China. The paper sums up the present situation and problems of environmental policy in China, analysis the environmental policy in China towards the policy networks Approach, which is regarded as a powerful analysis frame in policy study, then it put forward the measures to improve China' environmental policy, such as reform of environmental management, public participation, intendance and so on.
