摘要
Catalytic wet oxidation of waste drilling fluid had been examined in a high-pressure reactor under the following conditions: reaction temperature, 210 to 270 degrees C; O-2 dosage, 100 to 700 mg; and reaction time, 1 to 7 min. The effects of the given experimental conditions and KOH concentration on biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5)/chemical oxygen demand (COD) of waste drilling fluid were investigated with laboratory bench-scale experiments. The results indicated that KOH addition improved BOD5/COD. The addition of 300 mg/l of KOH accelerated the oxidation of the organic pollutant in the waste drilling fluid. The optimum BOD5/COD reached 0.56 under the experimental conditions.
