摘要
The present study involves the use of activated dolomite to enhance the photoactivity of self-cleaning cement containing microsized-TiO2. Two kinds of self-cleaning cement samples with different composition of clinker (white cement), activated dolomite and microsized-TiO2 were prepared in-house. The prepared cement samples and ingredients were characterized by XRD (X-ray diffraction) patterns, SEM (scanning electron microscopy), BET (Brunauer-Emmett-Teller) analysis and EDS (energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy). Photocatalytic activity test was performed to evaluate the self-cleaning abilities of the prepared cement samples. The photocatalytic activity test was also repeated for three times to confirm the reusability of the cement samples for commercial and field applications. (C) 2019 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
