摘要
VSG (Virtual Synchronous Generator) technology is an effective mean to cope with the reduction of grid inertia. As the provider of virtual inertia, the energy storage unit is a significant part of the VSG, and its service life exerts decisive impact on the design and construction of the VSG. This paper presents a method which can estimate the lifetime of a VSG energy storage unit. And the main point of the method is to predict the SOC (State of charge) change of the energy storage unit utilizing the grid frequency fluctuation data and VSG parameters. In the third section of the article, the method is illustrated by a case and a simulation experiment is used to verify its correctness.
