Determinants of achievement of economics concepts by elementary school students

摘要
Elementary-level students are shown to be capable of understanding many economics concepts, based on test questions from the BET. Neither ethnic background nor parental income level makes a significant difference in learning; gender was significant only in grade six for one group. The extent that a concept was taught in a class was typically the largest and most statistically significant determinant of the improved scores of students in that class.
