摘要
Inter-turn short circuit caused by electrical and thermal stresses are one of the most common and relevant faults in permanent magnet synchronous machines. The exact location of these faults has a significant impact on the output torque and hotspot temperature of an electrical machine. This paper considers both condition indicators based on high-frequency current values and phase resistances to improve signal injection-based detection methods for inter-turn short circuits.
