摘要
The buckling resistance of steel-concrete columns comprising steel profiles encased with high strength concrete in compression is analyzed in the presented article. The paper deals with the statistical and sensitivity analysis of load-carrying capacity. Assumptions for the determination of the theoretical load-carrying capacity of the column are listed in the first part of the article. Stresses in the concrete and steel sections are determined according to the principles of elasticity. Numerical simulation LHS and Monte Carlo methods, which take into account the variability influences of input imperfections, were employed. The statistical analysis results are compared with the results of experimental research. The sensitivity analysis was used to identify those initial imperfections that significantly influence the load-carrying capacity.
