摘要
The deposition of excess scar tissue that occurs in lung fibrosis is known to be mediated by transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-beta). Prostaglandin F(2 alpha) and the F prostanoid (FP) receptor are now identified as mediators that act independently of TGF-beta (pages 1426-1430).
