摘要
We present a digital video or image acquisition and management system. The system is made of two sets. In the first part, we employed an industrial PC with multi-channel video or image acquisition cards, by running the embedded software we can record multi-channel video signals to the RAID(redundant array of independent disks). And in the second set, we construct a video server to crop video or image files from the recorded data, manage these files by a database, and publish the video contents trough an embedded web server. Our system, named DVAMS, can be used for information synthesis and decision-making systems, such as intelligent digital security systems, enterprise multimedia libraries, medical media libraries, TV news libraries.
