摘要:
The objective of the study was to describe what the teachers of higher education in Physical Education of the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT) of Miracema and Tocantinopolis consider a good teacher.A qualitative research, of the descriptive exploratory type, was carried out, composed of 14 faculty members belonging to the Undergraduate Courses in Physical Education of UFT. A self- paced questionnaire was applied with an open question for teachers: " what do you consider to be a good teacher?". Teachers have demonstrated that to be a good teacher it is necessary to consider the technical dimensions, but we cannot move away from the human, sensitive and relational dimensions that are established and constructed during the teaching- learning processes. We also identify that the political dimension is imbricated, intertwined and even veiled in the pedagogical actions and in the ways of being a teacher. In this way, we indicate that it is necessary to find strategies for the awareness of this dimension.
