Instantaneous Visible-light Photochromic Performance of Composite Powders Based on PMoA and ZnO Nanotubes

摘要
Novel visible-light photochromic composites were synthesized by introducing PMoA into ZnO-nanotubes fabricated through a hydrothermal synthesis method. Characterization methods revealed that both of them retained the original structure in the final powders. Irradiated with visible light for 10 seconds, the pale yellow powders turned rapidly blue and exhibited reversible photochromism with oxidation. According to XPS analysis, a Zn-O-Mo charge transfer bridge has been built. Appearance of Mo5+ species indicated that the photoreduction process was in accordance with the photoelectron transfer mechanism.
