Identification of critical uncertainties in Tehran in order to achieve the development of low carbon city by using scenario writing method

摘要
Climate change is a phenomenon that has always been discussed and analyzed as a matter of concern in all over the world. Iran is one of the fifteen countries in which the proportion of greenhouse gas emissions is very high. Tehran is one of the most polluted cities in the world. The goal of this research is to achieve effective solutions for the development of low carbon city by cooperation and organizational support. For achieving this goal, by examining the most important indicators in various dimensions, uncertainties obtained and possible scenarios analyzed by using Scenario Wizard software. At the end, the authors found that by using green infrastructure and promoting cooperation and participation, it is possible to mitigate the adverse effects of the urban environment and moving towards a low-carbon city.
