摘要
Al2O3-Ti3SiC2 composites were fabricated by spark plasma sintering (SPS) method and its microstructure and properties were investigated. The mechanical properties of Al2O3-Ti3SiC2 System strongly depend on the constitutional variation and sintering temperature. Due to the combination of Ti3SiC2 layered structure with Al2O3 fine grain, the material Al2O3- Ti3SiC2 could possess high toughness without sacrifice the strength.
