Characteristics of the ISOCAM mid-infrared emission of early-type galaxies

摘要：
In order to interprete the mid-infrared emission from early-type galaxies, we have conducted a survey of early-type galaxies using ISOCAM, on board the ISO satellite. With 6 " resolution images of broad bands, centered at 4.5, 6.75 and 15 mu m, we can begin to elucidate the origin and distribution of various components of the mid infrared emission in early-type galaxies.
