摘要：

The place of the imagination in human life is one of the great themes that Rubem Alves developed at the beginning of his innovative theological work. He also incorporated language as one of his main concerns to redirect liberating reflection in an integral way. Tancara delves into the way in which Alves assumed the place of dreams and utopia, as well as redefining what reality is. It emphasizes the rebellion that this approach represents for a theology that is firmly anthropological and attentive to the integral human situation.
