摘要
ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) is a set of procedures that were developed by the European Commission and its main purpose is to harmonize the legal rules relating to the process of organizing studies and to improve the study at European universities significantly. The aim of the study has been to investigate students' opinions about the effectiveness of the flow of information on the ECTS. The first part of this paper justifies the need to provide information about introducing ECTS to the educational programs of higher education schools of economics based on the literature review and the authors' experience. The results of a survey of January 2018 are presented in the second part of this paper. The survey (pilot) questionnaire has been released among 4 groups of students of the Faculty of Management at the UTP University of Science and Technology in Bydgoszcz (a total of 164 students). An e-survey created in Google Forms has been used as a research tool. Depending on the B.Sc. or M.Sc. programme, the respondents obtained information about the ECTS in one of the following fields: Management - B.Sc. or M.Sc. programme, Management and Production Engineering - B.Sc. or M.Sc. programme, Finance and Accounting - B.Sc. programme. The research results confirm a sufficient knowledge of the ECTS among the students of the Faculty of Management. The students not only were positive about the purposefulness of presenting detailed information about the ECTS but also indicated where to find the right information.
