摘要
In the so-called 'domino effect' a major accident at one establishment can be triggered by a preceding major accident at ail adjacent establishment. According to the recent Seveso Directive of the EU, authorities have to evaluate if this is indeed the case. A method based oil a generic set of process and storage installations, accident scenarios and vulnerabilities of process and storage installations has been developed to enable the evaluation of this situation without having to use an elaborate quantitative risk analysis.
