摘要
The present article points out central considerations for constructing a formative performance test for mathematics in third grade as well as selected findings on its psychometric quality. The results show that the test can be used to assess the current performance of third-graders reliably and validly. Students not reaching the primary school goals can be screened as early as in Grade 3. The test items fit the Rasch model, which is valid for change measurements. However, the findings indicate that the responsiveness for learning developments should be increased by further revisions.
