摘要
In this paper, a novel slot-coupling fed water-based stacked-patch antenna is proposed. The antenna is excited in two resonance modes by the slot-coupling feeding structure together to cover the designed frequency band. The lower mode is the resonance of the water dielectric resonator antenna (DRA), and the higher mode belongs to the patch mode. The proposed antenna has an impedance bandwidth from 1.69-2.11GHz (a fractional bandwidth of 22.1 %) for reflection coefficient <-10dB. A maximum gain of 8.9 dBi, radiation efficiency up to 87% and symmetrically unidirectional patterns are obtained as well.
