摘要：

We study and classify the centroaffine surfaces with degenerate center map. The centroaffine surface with definite induced centroaffine metric has degenerate center map if and only if it is a proper affine sphere. In particular, we investigate the degenerate center map of the centroaffine ruled surfaces and consider its relationship with the centroaffine space curve. (c) 2012 Elsevier B.V.
