摘要
The aim of the paper is to share experiences in implementing e-learning at the University of Defence (UoD) in Brno. It presents organizational and technological aspects of adapting the Moodle Learning Management System to the requirements of military education. It weighs the benefits and downsides of Moodle. Furthermore, the outcomes of a survey concerning the UoD user opinion on Moodle are discussed. The authors propose Moodle as an efficient and cost-effective technological solution for a virtual learning environment in the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic.
