Triethylenetetramine-based novel cationic surfactants and their complexes with anionic polyelectrolytes

摘要：
Novel surfactants of ionic liquid nature have been synthesized by interaction of triethylenetetramine and alkyl iodides (C-4, C-6. C-7). Their complexes with the products of polyacrylic acid 50% neutralization by sodium hydroxide have been obtained. The surface activity of those surfactants and their polymeric complexes has been studied at the water-air interface in comparative mode. The respective parameters have been evaluated. Petroleum-collecting and petroleum-dispersing properties of the obtained products have been studied. Crown Copyright (C) 2011 Published by Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
