摘要
In this paper, a compact dielectric rod antenna with relatively high gain is presented. A bifilar helix is employed as feeding structure to realize end-fire radiation and reduce the structure dimension. The effect of structure parameters on the radiation performance is studied, and an antenna operating at 8 GHz is designed as an example. Measured results demonstrate that the proposed antenna is much smaller than the traditional one while realizing the equal gain.
