A method for the determination of K shell fluorescence yields using photoionization

摘要
K shell fluorescence yields were measured for Sr, Y, Zr, Nb, Mo, Ru, Pd, Ag, In, Sb, Cs, and Pr using a germanium detector. The targets were excited by 59.5 keV gamma-rays from a Am-241 radioactive source of strength 400 MBq. The results obtained were compared with the theoretical predictions, semiempirical estimates and earlier results obtained by other methods. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights resented.
