EXPERIMENTAL VERIFICATION OF THE IMPACT OF APPLETS IN MATHEMATICAL EDUCATION

摘要
In the paper we describe the application of some innovative methods which use available tools of information and communication technologies and their integration into mathematical education. We introduce some software products and their usefulness in mathematics at faculties of economic and the effect of their usage on students. Special attention is paid to applets which are created using open source programme C.a.R. To assess the appropriateness of use of electronic products in the teaching we test results of two groups of students who participated in the didactic test in mathematical analysis and completed the questionnaire. To evaluate the teaching experiment we use parametric methods of statistical inference. Statistically verified results of the questionnaire and the didactic test confirm that the appropriate integration of ICT into teaching of mathematical analysis and active use of applets can improve the students' attitude towards mathematics and enable students to achieve a higher level of knowledge.
